The Perch is one such fish that you can catch and not only is it a convenient source of money (G) to help you fund your various farming upgrades, but it can also be used in combination with Cloth to create the Fishing Vest at the Sewing Machine. Here’s where to catch Perch in Stardew Valley.

If you need one quickly, it can also be found in Garbage Cans during the Winter season.

Perch can also be purchased from the Traveling Cart, located south of the farm in Cindersap Forest on Fridays and Sunday. It can also randomly appear each day of the Night Market (Winter 15 – Winter 17). The stock of the Traveling Cart changes each day that it appears, though, so there’s no guarantee that Perch will be in-stock when you do visit it.

The Traveling Cart will sell Perch for a price ranging between 165-1,000 G, so you’re better off trying to catch one instead.

How Much Can You Sell Perch For?

A Perch can be sold for 55g at its lowest quality, and 110g for a purple star quality variant.

If you have the ‘Fisher’ skill, this will increase the sell prices from 68g at its lowest quality to 137g for its purple star quality.

Finally, if you have the ‘Angler’ skill, prices will increase further to 82g for its lowest quality, to 165g for its purple star quality.
