Pokemon Legends Arceus is finally here. The long-awaited open-world Pokemon game that many have dreamed of for years is available for anyone to jump in and explore. While there are a lot of changes in this game, obviously catching, training, and evolving Pokemon is still a critical part of the gameplay. How to Evolve Gligar in Pokemon Legends Arceus
Gligar and its evolution Gliscor has consistently been one of the stronger non-legendary Pokemon over the years. This is in large part to its excellent Ground and Flying typing, solid stat spread, and great moves.
Gligar doesn’t evolve on its own, though. It’ll go all the way to level 100 without ever evolving if you don’t have the right item: the Razor Fang
Getting a Razor Fang
You’ll need to give Gligar a Razor Fang to evolve it into Gliscor. Razor Fangs can be obtained in a few ways. Rarely, Gligar will drop them when caught/defeated. Just keep fighting them until you get it.
If you don’t want to do that, what might be easier is hunting for them in Space-Time Distortions. These are special areas that will appear randomly in the field. You’ll get a notification that one is spawning where you are, and then you’ll need to look to the sky for the big dome-like space covering a large swath of area. Enter, wait a few minutes and then a storm will brew and the distortion will begin proper. When that happens, items will spawn on the ground and you’ll have a chance of finding a Razor Fang. Just be careful because powerful Pokemon will appear as well. Make sure your satchel is clear too.
Finally, you can also occasionally get Razor Fangs from shops. The Ginko Guild will sometimes sell them, and you can also buy them using Merit Points from Simona’s stall, both found in Jubilife Village.
Now to evolve your Gligar. Unlike some Pokemon in Legends Arceus which will eventually become ready to evolve on their own, you’ll need to wait until nighttime and then use the Razor Fang on it so it will evolve into Gliscor.
