Can You Win the Lottery in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy?

The short answer to whether or not you can win the lottery in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is, no, you can not. While you can pick up a lotto ticket as one of the game’s many collectibles during the Knowhere, it’s merely a fluff item that can be bought for 1,000 units.

***Light spoilers below***

The main reason you can’t win is that Knowhere ends up getting invaded and trashed later on in the story. Since the place where you bought it is destroyed, there is no way of knowing if the lottery ticket Peter does pick up is even a winning ticket. Thus, Star-Lord’s hopes of earning all those units and becoming a millionaire are destroyed right along with the rest of the Celestial-head city.

That is everything you need to know about if you can win the lottery in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. If you’re still on the hunt for more info about the game, be sure to check out all of the guide wiki, as it’ll surely have all of the tips, tricks, and FAQs you could ever have about the game.
