Lord of The Rings is “The Greatest Trilogy in Movie History” in Colbert’s Hilarious 20th Anniversary Rap

Well, to celebrate one of the most iconic fantasy series of all-time, Stephen Colbert and his crew on The Late Show has put together a hilarious ode to a film franchise that would go on to become a legit cultural phenomenon.

Of course, joining in on the fun are a bunch of the original stars from the legendary trilogy including Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Hugo Weaving, Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd, Orlando Bloom, Andy Serkis, and even a brief appearance from Aragorn himself, Viggo Mortensen.

Go ahead and feast your eyes and ears on the new rap down below:

As you can see in the video above, there’s a lot of gags in there that’ll likely put a big smile on every Lord of the Rings fan’s face.

Indeed, from Dominic Monaghan joking about Aragorn losing a tooth and breaking two toes to Hugo Weaving doing a full-on rap in Elvish while Andy Serkis plays the flute in the background, there’s a lot to love in Stephen Colbert, Killer Mike, Method Man, and Jon Baptiste’s latest Middle-earth rap.

Frankly, Colbert’s brand new video is seriously on point. I mean, where are all the anniversary celebrations for one of the greatest fantasy trilogies of all-time, right?

But what say you, though? Were you impressed with Colbert’s ‘One Rap to Rule Them All’? Or did it miss the mark for you? Fly you fools to the usual place down below to let us know.
