Accompanying the game’s recent release is a fresh launch trailer that’s hot off the grill. Go ahead and feast your eyeballs on the new footage below:

Blending the happy-go-lucky tone and vibe of a McDonald’s advert with the eerie terror of Five Nights At Freddy’s, Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is an ode to lo-fi, 32-bit era first-person adventure games with a healthy dollop of nail-bitingly demonic horror.

Players can cook various items from the menu, serve customers, upgrade their restaurant, take out the trash, put out fires, and get rid of all those pesky rats. Sounds like my first job, to be honest.

All the while, however, you’ll also have to avoid some nasty animatronic monsters that want to see you pushing up the virtual daisies. Pretty creepy, right?

For more information, here’s a rundown courtesy of an official press release we received today:

Once the alarm clock rings, Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is the only place left on your foggy mind. Report for your shift to prep the grill for a night of burgers, fries, and unexplainable terrors and oddities. Mascot Barnyard Bud statues moving on their own, flickering lights, and… a malevolent creature that’s only satisfied with an order of putrid patty.

Manage the restaurant while fulfilling customer orders. Complete daily tasks: unclog toilets, eliminate rodents, and thwart maniacal figures messing with your shift. Commit too many infractions and meet the wrath of Happy the Humble Heifer, an unforgiving mascot ready to tear insubordinate staff apart.

Strike back at your evil corporate overlords by uncovering the secrets of New Elysian City’s biggest businesses: Happy Humble Burger Farm, Paragon, and Obscura Biotech. Search every inch of the town to regain your memory–collecting hidden tapes and scattered research papers, checking out the seemingly abandoned buildings and empty corners. Nothing is as it seems in this devilish metropolis inspired by classic horror titles.

Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is available to purchase now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
