FFXIV Endwalker: How to Unlock Sage

It’s an exciting week for Final Fantasy XIV players, as the early access launch of the new Endwalker expansion is finally upon us. After the events of the post-Shadowbringers main quests, the Scions are primed to head to Sharlayan to find a way to put a stop to the Final Days, and of course, this new adventure wouldn’t be complete without a few new jobs getting added to the roster. Here’s how to unlock the Sage job in FFXIV Endwalker.

Ever since the release of Stormblood, Square Enix has made it such that new jobs can be accessed without having to start the new expansion content and heading to the new central hubs. The same can be said for Endwalker, as once the expansion goes live, you can immediately unlock the new jobs in areas that were already available to you in the base game.

One of the new jobs added with Endwalker is the Sage, which is a new healing class that will hopefully help to shake up the healing meta.

Unlocking Sage in FFXIV Endwalker

To unlock Sage, you’ll need to head to Limsa Lominsa.

Speak with the Sharlayan Maiden NPC located in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks, at the coordinates X:9.4, Y:12.9. She’ll give you a quest called Sage’s Path, and all you have to do is follow the markers and objectives before you’re given a new weapon and job stone.

Do note that you need to have a combat class at level 70 before you can accept this quest, which makes sense, considering that the Sage starts at a slightly higher level as well.

That’s all you need to know about how to unlock the Sage job in FFXIV Endwalker. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
