New World is Amazon Games’ first big video game project, and it’s an ambitious and exciting one. This is a pirate-themed MMORPG that allows players to join different factions, keep track of various town and settlement economies, and explore a vast world with supernatural beings and other strange going-ons. If you just want to jump straight into your adventure, here’s how to skip the tutorial in New World.
If you’ve already played the technical alphas and betas of New World, you might be tempted to just skip the prologue and jump into the game proper. Thankfully, you can do just that.
Of course, if you’re new to the game, we recommend playing it through as the prologue’s actually rather short, and it gives you a quick rundown of the basic combat mechanics. Left-click lets you attack, right-click lets you block, and so on and so forth. If you already know all that, you can skip ahead and get started on your journey.
Skipping the Tutorial in New World
To do skip the New World tutorial, press the Esc key to bring up the menu, then click on the Game Menu tab. From here, you should see an option that says Skip to New World. This will let you bypass the prologue entirely and let you take on your first few quests that help you get acquainted with the crafting and hunting elements of the game.
If you’re hoping to skip these initial quests as well, though, unfortunately there’s no way to do so. You’ll need to go through these in order as they’re part of the main story quest, and then progress from there. The good news is that these quests actually go by pretty quickly, and it won’t be long before your character’s outfitted with a full set of armor, and your journey will truly begin.
That’s all you need to know about how to skip the tutorial in New World. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
