Madden 22 has arrived, as it does every year around the end of summer, and it brings with it the usual slew of features and mechanics that are designed to improve the quality of life of your favorite football simulator. In this guide, we’re going to walk you through one of these features, and specifically, teach you how how to change camera angles in Madden 22.
How to Change Camera Angles in Madden 22
Like with last year’s game, changing camera angles in Madden 22 is very simple whether you’re dramatically changing the look, or just doing a quick tweak.
To begin, you can change how close to or far away from the action the camera is with the D-Pad on both the PlayStation and the Xbox. Pressing up will move the camera in closer to the action while pressing down will bring the camera further out to give you a bigger FOV to see what’s going on.
Each press of each button amplifies the effect, so you can make gradual changes to find the distance that works best for you.
To completely change camera angles in Madden 22 though, and not just adjust how zoomed in you are, you’ll need to go to the settings menu and then select the Cameras tab.
From there, you can pick from a variety of different camera perspectives for almost every aspect of play in the game. You can alter how you view offensive and defensive plays; where the camera is positioned during passes, and other tweaks should you want to give them a try and see how the game looks with them.
At the end of the day there is no “best” camera angle, it really just comes down to what you like the most and helps you play at your best.
