Is Monster Hunter Stories 2 Cross-Play Between Switch and PC?
Unfortunately, no. If you’ve picked up Monster Hunter Stories 2 on Nintendo Switch and your friends are playing on PC, you won’t be able to play with one another. While this may come as disappointing news right now, there’s always the possibility the feature could be added in as part of a future software update.

Is There Cross-Save Compatibility in Monster Hunter Stories 2?
Monster Hunter Stories 2 has no cross-save compatibility between the Nintendo Switch and PC, either. That means if you’ve bought the game on both platforms, you won’t be able to access and play the same saved game on both platforms.
In other words, you’ll have two save files: one on Nintendo Switch and one on PC. You won’t be able to transfer either save file to the other platform.
The only saved data you can transfer is that from Monster Hunter Stories 2’s demo. If you’ve played the demo prior to the full game’s release today, you can give yourself a head start by transferring your progress and picking up from where you left off.
