Combining Items in Monster Hunter Stories 2

While it is possible to just buy most of what you need from the stores available in the village, sometimes it’s just more efficient to craft them yourself by using the combine function in the game. This allows you to use the random resources and raw materials you’ve picked up while exploring the open-world, and put them to better use.

At the start of the game, you’ll only have some very basic recipes that let you craft simple items like herbs, which can heal you up in combat. But as you progress further, you’ll be able to obtain more recipes and learn how to craft more complex items to aid you in battle.

To combine items in Monster Hunter Rise, bring up the menu by pressing the X button. Then, pick the Combine option. From here, you’ll see a list of all the available items that you can craft, as well as a list of the materials you need to craft them.
