Shazam Fury the Gods Director Reveals New Suit Designs

Earlier today on Twitter, Shazam Fury the Gods director David F. Sandberg posted a photo from the set of the upcoming DC movie sequel. The image featured the entire family of adult Shazams, featuring some slick improvements to their wardrobes.

In the tweet, Sandberg stated that he didn’t know how long they’d be able to keep the new suits from leaking, so he figured why not post a picture of them to get ahead of it.

The image above features the following actors from right to left: Freddy Freeman (Adam Brody), Darla Dudley (Meaghan Good), Eugene Choi (Ross Butler), Billy Batson (Zachary Levi), Mary Bromfield (Grace Fulton), and Pedro Pena (D.J. Cotrona).

Alongside the costume upgrades, the most noticeable change is Grace Fulton will be playing both regular and Shazam Mary. Originally, Michelle Borth portrayed the superhero form, but it seems that the actress is now old enough to do both roles. Sandberg confirmed this change in a follow-up tweet.

While Shazam Fury the Gods doesn’t have an exact release date as of yet, it is shooting for a June 2023 window. The sequel is set to add some interesting names to its roster, including Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler.
