You’ll have a number of different powers and techniques at your disposal in Scarlet Nexus, but they won’t do you much good if you don’t know how to use them. This is especially true for your Struggle Arms System (SAS) powers, which can be vital to your success and survival the further into the game you get. As such, we don’t blame you for striking out to find info on how to use SAS Powers in Scarlet Nexus.
Luckily, you’ve come to the right place. Below you’ll find info on how these powers are used and how to make them more powerful.
How to Use SAS Powers in Scarlet Nexus
SAS Powers in Scarlet Nexus are easier to use than you might think.
All you need to do is hold down RB on Xbox consoles or R1 on PlayStation consoles and then press the face button that corresponds to the power you want to use. Each face button will have a different power based on the party members you currently have with you, and will have their own meters tied to usage and cooldown.
You can use several SAS Powers at once if you have the right skills unlocked, and you have full control over when an ability is triggered. You can also deactivate a power whenever you wish by once again pressing RB/R1 along with the corresponding face button, or by pressing RB/R1 and R3 or RS to deactivate all your currently active Powers at once.
How to Make SAS Powers Stronger
You can also increase the strength of your SAS Powers in Scarlet Nexus by increasing your bond levels with teammates.
To do this, use their SAS Powers consistently and interact with your party members at the hideout by giving them gifts. Gifts can be obtained through a variety of methods, from completing side quests to purchasing them from the shop. You can also respond to their Brain Messages and complete Bond Episodes to increase their bonds with you.
These methods will see your Powers made more potent, with buffs like increased damage or extended durations.
