Resident Evil Village features all of the puzzles, combat, and mystery that fans have come to love about the series, all occuring within a story that sees protagonist Ethan traversing a terrifying village in order to save his daughter, Rosemary, from a group of vampires. To help him, players will need to do everything they can to help him progress, including finding valuable treasures that’ll fund his exploits. Here is everything you need to know about how to find the Two-Holed Neckless Gems in Resident Evil Village.
How to Find Neckless Gems in Resident Evil Village
About halfway through Resident Evil Village, you’ll likely come upon neckless with two holes in it. While it may not seem too helpful for his fight at first glance, you’ll eventually be able to combine it with other treasures to make it more valuable, and sell it to the Duke to fund weapon upgrades, supply purchases, and more.
The thing about these other treasures, though, is that they don’t actually appear until later down the line. Both are hidden in later sections of that game that you won’t be able to access until you get specific tools tied to story progression.
First Gem
For the first of these necklace gems, you’ll need to get your hands on a crank. This is obtained from the area controlled by the fourth lord Moreau, and can be used to open mechanical doors. Once you get it, open the mechanical door in the East Old Town section of the village.
Head into the area it kept closed off, and then climb up the ladder to your right. Once you make it up to the ledge it leads to, head left and drop down onto a roof with a treasure chest next to a corpse. Search the treasure chest and you’ll get the first gem.
Second Gem
Resident Evil Village’s second gem is a little harder to obtain, requiring you to do a lot more leg work in order to get it.
Head northwest of the Lone Road and use the crank to lower the drawbridge. Go across it and enter the boat down by the water. Take the boat up the river, and then disembark.
You’ll be on the other side of a raised bridge you passed back before you entered tCastle Dimitrescu. Using the crank, lower the bridge, and go across toward the house in front of you. Enter the house and go into the backyard via the window. In the backyard, go over to the well and use its wheel to raise up a ladder.
Go down the ladder, and you’ll find yourself in the lower level of the section where you had to flee from Heisenberg’s Lycans. From this side, you’ll be able to climb the deactivated trap spike plates up to a ledge on the right, leading you straight to a glowing control panel.
Interact with it until every node is lit up green. Next, go across the plates to the ledge on the left side of the room. On this side, there will be two crate carts you can push.
Push each as far as they’ll go forward, and one will drop in place so that you can climb up onto the pressure plate leading to yet another ledge. Climb up onto this new ledge, and then drop down into a hole leading into a cell. Inside the cell will be a treasure chest containing the second gem.
Once you have both, you can then combine them with the Two-Holed Necklace to create a completed treasure. It’ll be worth a small fortune when sold to the Duke, and should help fund some much-needed weapon upgrades or supply purchases.
