Even though it has a lot of fan service in it, there is no denying that Mass Effect 3’s Citadel DLC is one hell of a good time. Shepard and company do everything from getting Grunt out of trouble to competing in combat sims to even taking down a Shepard clone. Arguably the best part of the DLC is at the end, though, which comes with a very important decision: what kind of party should you throw in Mass Effect 3 Citadel? Here is everything you need to know.
Before we go into details about the party, it is important to note that you should complete all relevant interactions in the game up until before storming Cronos Station. It is also recommended you try and keep as many players alive up to this point as possible. Doing both of these will give you the most content in this DLC.
What Kind of Party Should You Throw in Mass Effect 3 Citadel?
Before sending out invitation’s, Glyph will ask Shepard if they want a Quiet or Energetic party. This choice merely affects the dialogue in the first part of the party, not the actual guest lists or their arrangements.
Choosing either will have their own hilarious moments. For example Energetic has scenes like the one where Shepard does their token bad dance and everyone laughs at them; Quiet has scenes where Tali has a terrible impersonation of the Normandy.
It should also be noted that you can change themes throughout the party, as it exists in four parts: start-up, second phase, wrap up, and aftermath. We’d recommend keeping the theme the same the whole time to get the most consistent experience.
When it comes down to which one you should pick, though, it is all down to which style you prefer. Our recommendation is to do both by saving the game beforehand. Either way, you’ll end up with plenty of interesting conversations between characters, as well as some unexpected hookups.
That is everything you need to know about what kind of party should you throw in Mass Effect 3 Citadel. For more on the game, check out our Mass Effect Legendary Edition guide wiki.
