Update 1.4 brought the Windblume festival to Genshin Impact, but there’s even more to look forward to. The second half of the update introduces the Wishful Drops event, which lets you get even more rewards as well as a cute Oceanid pet that will follow you around as you journey across Teyvat. Here’s how to get the Oceanid pet in Genshin Impact.
Getting the Oceanid Pet in Genshin Impact
The Wishful Drops event will run from April 8 11 a.m. server time to April 16 3:59 a.m. server time. This means that you have about five days to complete the event and secure the pet.
During this period of time, you will gain access to a new key item called the Inquisitive Endora. Equip it from your inventory, and then start heading to the marked places on your map to explore and capture Oceanid creatures. Each creature you capture will help to fill up a progress bar, which allows your Oceanid pet to slowly grow up.
Every time you help Endora to grow, you can claim rewards from the event panel, including primogems and Mora. If you manage to help it grow fully by checking off every objective in the events panel and exploring every marked area, you’ll then get to keep the Oceanid pet for yourself.
Just like the mini Seelie from the previous event, Endora will simply follow you around and it serves no other purpose than being cute and cosmetic.
After maxing out Endora’s growth, you can also take on a new boss challenge against the Oceanid herself. This fight yields more rewards, but she also comes with new attacks, so if you’re having a tough time, you can attempt the challenge in co-op mode as well.
