Increasing Max Health in Immortals Fenyx Rising

By default, you start with three chunks of health in the game. When playing on Normal difficulty, you’ll have health regen only for whatever chunk of health you’re on, which is usually enough. But as you get further into the game, you’ll face tougher challenges and you’d probably want to have a bit more HP before tackling those.

There are a couple of main ways to increase your max health in Immortals Fenyx Rising:

  • By equipping certain types of armor
  • By collecting Ambrosia

At the start of the game, Fenyx gets a piece of chest armor that automatically gives you an extra chunk of health, but it’s not permanent. Once you remove it, that perk goes away and you’ll be back to your default.

However, you can permanently increase your max health by collecting Ambrosia scattered around the world. First, you can hold the R3 button to activate far sight and scan your surroundings for items of interest.

With any luck, you’ll spot a pot of Ambrosia that you can go collect. We’ve included a screenshot down below to show what the icon looks like on your map.

Head over the specified location and press the triangle or Y button to pick up the Ambrosia, and your max health will increase by just a little bit.
