Cyberpunk 2077 Garry the Prophet: The Prophet’s Song Quest Guide

Chances are if you’ve been to visit Misty’s Esoterica, you’ll have inadvertently walked past or listened to the rambling of Garry the Prophet in Cyberpunk 2077. He’s stood right outside Misty’s store, and ‘The Prophet’s Song’ is a side job you can pick up by interacting with him. The problem is, the game never actually tells you what you’re supposed to do to advance the quest, or even when you’ve completed a step. In this Cyberpunk 2077 Garry the Prophet guide, we’ll talk you through how to complete ‘The Prophet’s Song’ quest.

First off, you’ll need to head to where Garry the Prophet is. As we mentioned before, he’s right outside Misty’s Esoterica, but we’ve marked his quest marker on the map below.

When you get here, you’ll then need to simply listen to Garry’s ramblings.

Listen to Garry the Prophet’s Five Conspiracies

There are five different topics he can talk about, and he’ll change each time you revisit him.

All you need to do is listen to what Garry has to say on each of these topics, and then engage in a conversation with him. It doesn’t matter how you reply, just as long as you do. Also, be sure to tip Garry 100 Eddies each time, as this will come in handy later on.

The fifth time you return to hear what Garry has to say, he’ll be talking about Nomads. During this, he’ll be attacked by a group of Nomads and you’ll need to help fight them off if you want to complete this side job.

If you chose the Nomad lifepath, or have completed the ‘Queen of the Highway’ side job when the Nomad’s attack Garry, you can talk them down and avoid combat altogether.

After saving Garry from the Nomads, he’ll thank you and tell you to go and check out a mysterious meeting.

Head to the location marked on your map, which will take you to an old factory in Kabuki. Speak to Johnny outside and then head to the hiding spot highlighted by the quest marker.

You’ll now watch a group of Maelstrom gang members handing over a mysterious chip to a group of Corpos. Throw a few grenades into them all before they leave and grab the mysterious chip.

If you wait for the corpos to drive off with the chip, or leave the mission area early, you’ll automatically fail the quest.

Once you’ve got the mysterious chip, decrypt it from the Journal menu, and then return to where Garry was stood. A disciple of his will now be standing there, and as long as you tipped Garry, you’ll be able to ask them about the chip.

If you didn’t make a donation to Garry previously, you can tip his disciple to get all the answers you want about the mysterious chip.

That’s everything you need to know on Garry the Prophet in Cyberpunk 2077’s The Prophet’s Song quest. Head over to our wiki for more tips and tricks, or check out more of our coverage below.
