Turning Off the Car Alarm in Phasmophobia

Whenever you’re exploring a haunted house in Phasmophobia, there are tons of things that could suddenly act up and spook you in the game, including a car alarm that goes off. This isn’t a guaranteed incident for every game you play; it’s a random occurence and depends on the ghost type, its behavior, and whether it decides to actually set off the alarm to distract you.

When it does happen, though, here’s what you need to know. The car will always be located in the garage in the house, and you’ll need to find a car key to turn off the alarm. Sadly, the location of the key itself is also random, and you’ll need to hunt it down yourself.

Thankfully, there are a couple of common spawn locations for the key. You should always first check near the main door to see if the car key is there. Look on the wall near the main door to see if there’s a key hanging on the wall, or check the dressers and tables near the main hallways to see if it’s there.

It’s also worth noting that the car key will look different each time, so grab any key that you might see lying around.

Once you have it, equip it like any other item in your inventory and head over to the car. With it in hand, use the key to turn off the car alarm, and you’re all good to go.

That’s all you need to know about how to turn off the car alarm in Phasmophobia. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
