Developed by Kinetic Games, Phasmophobia is a new horror game that released in Steam early access just last month. Together with three other players, you can explore a few different haunted locales and try to find out what types of ghosts are hanging around that area. Restoring Sanity in Phasmophobia

Sanity is one of the most important mechanics you need to take note of in Phasmophobia. Over time, as you’re exploring the area, your sanity will slowly go down, especially if you’re spending a lot of time in a ghost room or in close proximity to a ghost.

You can check your sanity level on the monitors in the van, and as it gets lower, you’ll become way more susceptible to attacks from the ghost, and you’ll become a more likely target for it when it’s in hunting mode. It’s worth noting that even if you go back to the van, your sanity level won’t automatically regenerate. It’ll stop decreasing, but the only way to restore it is by using sanity pills.

Pills can only be bought once you’ve hit level 5, which means that you’ll need to have completed a few levels first to rack up experience points. In addition to that, they also cost $45.

With the pills, you can restore up to 40% of your sanity level, but you’ll never be able to get back to 100%. It’s definitely recommended that you bring pills with you to some of the larger maps, such as the school or the asylum, as you’ll be spending a lot more time in those areas.

Generally, you shouldn’t really need them with the smaller house maps, so save them for the larger levels instead.

That’s all you need to know about how to restore sanity in Phasmophobia. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
