How to Upgrade Free Throws in NBA 2K21
Free throws… the bane of every NBA player both in real life and virtually. They are supposed to be easy and most players can hit them 80-90% of the time or better, but the misses come in just at the worst time, every time.
In MyCareer you can enhance your player’s stats to improve aspects of your game such, wait for it, your free throws.
To upgrade free throws in NBA 2K21 you first need to get through the first bunch of cutscenes in MyCareer mode. Once you’re through all of that go to the progression menu. Search for free throws and then go ahead and start upgrading. You’ll need currency of course, though.
You’ll need good ol’ VC to upgrade your free throws. The best way to get VC is to play NBA games in MyCareer mode where you’ll collect your salary and get more if you play well and get a high Teammate Grade by scoring points, assists, etc., but modes like Neighborhood within MyCareer will work for VC grinding as well.
