With the latest patch for Final Fantasy XIV, a new dance emote has also been added into the game. This means that if you’re looking to complete your dance and emote catalog, you’ll definitely want to look into this one. Thankfully, the Gold Dance isn’t all that hard to unlock if you’ve been keeping up with the MGP grind.

To get it, you’ll need to head over to the Gold Saucer. Talk to the Gold Saucer Attendant NPC and choose the Prize Claim option, then choose to purchase the Ballroom Etiquette – The Gold Dance item. Do note that this will cost you 80,000 MGP which is certainly no small sum.

MGP can be easily obtained by playing and winning games in the Gold Saucer, or obtained as rewards for completing Khloe’s weekly Wondrous Tails journal entries. Once you’ve gotten enough MGP, exchange them for the Ballroom Etiquette item, then select it from your inventory and use it. This will add the Gold Dance to your emote catalog.

From this point on, you can simply type the command /golddance in your chat box, and your character will perform the new fancy dance wherever you are.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Gold Dance in FFXIV. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
