Getting the Creamy Oyster in FFXIV

The Creamy Oyster is a type of marine life that you can only get via fishing. You need to have a Fisher above level 70 in order to catch it manually. However, if you don’t have a Fisher, you could always try your luck at the marketboard or buy or trade with other players who are able to get it for you.

If you do plan on catching it yourself, though, it’s pretty easy to do so. Creamy Oysters can be located in Kholusia. More specifically, head to the coordinates X:8, Y:32 at the Western Kholusian Coast and start fishing in the watering hole there.

You’ll need the Moyebi Shrimp bait in order to catch this creature in FFXIV, which can be bought from most vendors in the Shadowbringers areas. You can get it at Eulmore, Mord Souq, and in Kholusia itself. Once you have the bait, it’s just a matter of casting your line in and waiting for the fish to bite. There’s a bit of RNG involved in the process as there’s a chance that other fish types could spawn.

Creamy Oysters are used primarily for the delivery quests in the Crystarium, though you can also sell them on the marketboard at a premium if there’s enough demand for it.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Creamy Oyster in FFXIV. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
