How to Play as Piccolo in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
Like other characters in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, Piccolo becomes available for play after you reach a certain point in the game; specifically, the point in the Saiyan saga after Goku is killed and the Z Warriors take up the mantle of defending Earth after the arrival of the Saiyans.
As such, there’s nothing you need to do other than play through a certain portion of the main game. Once you do, you’ll automatically be given control of Piccolo for a portion of the game until his portion of the saga ends.
After that point, you’ll be given control of a different character such as Gohan Goku until Piccolo has an integral fight or portion of the story where he’s necessary.
And that’s really all there is to it. There aren’t any other, specific requirements you have to fulfill, and so long as you don’t encounter some as-of-yet unknown game-breaking bug, you shouldn’t have any trouble stepping into the shoes of the Namekian warrior of Earth.
