Visit Peter Englert

Near the end of Death Stranding, you’re given a small hint about a particular NPC and the opportunity to find out even more about Higgs. If you take a look at your mail, you’ll see that you’ve gotten a new message from Peter Englert, the NPC who lives just west of Lake Knot City and the one who asked for a pizza delivery.

As it turns out, Peter Englert was actually Higgs this entire time, and that email alone reveals it. The message lets you know that there’s new information to be found at Englert’s house, and it gives you a Memory Chip that will provide some insight into Higgs’ mindset and flesh out his backstory.

We won’t spoil what information you actually learn about Higgs, but if you didn’t already look into this, you’ll want to check that out as soon as the credits roll.

In addition to that, there are actually quite a few Memory Chips scattered all over the open world in Death Stranding. They’re pretty hard to find, but it could be fun to go on a scavenger hunt for these as well.
