Borderlands 3 has tons of tough boss encounters to overcome and rare loot to claim. The rare spawn hunts are a great example of this. Let’s take a look at one in particular, and where you can find El Dragon Jr in Borderlands 3.
Where to Find El Dragon Jr in Borderlands 3
El Dragon Jr is a mini-boss that you can encounter in Jakobs Estate, on the swamp planet Eden-6.
He is a Goliath-type enemy and can be a bit of a handful if you aren’t properly prepared. Make sure to bring some heavy ordnance to this encounter.
You will need to travel to the fast travel point, and once you are there, head forward and then hug the wall to your left, or follow the westerly side of the map as it curves around.
Keep on in this manner until you come across a tablet of Eridium Writing. From here, you should be able to see the big fella, but if not head towards the small waterfall, and you will encounter your prey.
Take him down in the usual manner, with a boatload of bullets, and cross your fingers and pray to RNGesus. There is a small chance that El Dragon Jr will drop a Legendary Eridian Artifact.
Its called Unleash The Dragon, and once equipped it will give your character a 100% incendiary chance for all melee attacks, which is great at the best of times, but incredibly badass if you happen to be running a melee-focused Amara build.
It also gives you increased incendiary gun damage and resistance, which is pretty nice as well.
