There are a bunch of different ways you can increase your Sims’ Magic Rank.
The first of which is to simply practice spells. This can be done by clicking on your Sim, choosing the Magic option, and selecting to Practice Spells. Each time you do this, you’ll earn experience that’ll help you level that rank up.
If you’d rather test your magical skills against other Spellcasters, you can do that to. Walk over to any of the Spellcasters in the Magic Realm and you’ll be able to duel them. Regardless of whether you win or lose, you’ll earn experience that’ll contribute towards your Magic Rank again.
It’s also possible to just ask more talented Spellcasters to teach and train you in the ways of magic. Or, if you’d rather just spend some time reading up on how to improve your spellcrafting ways, you can interact with bookcases by clicking on them and using the ‘Search for Tomes’ option.
Finally, you can click on any cauldrons you spot in the world to either ‘Experiment’ or ‘Brew Potions.’ Either of these activities, like all of the others above, will net you a little bit more experience that’ll increase your Magic Rank, so it’s really just a case of doing these activities over and over.
What Magic Rank Does
Each time you level up your Magic Rank in Sims 4 Realm of Magic, you’ll get talent points that can be spent on various different magic-related perks. Most importantly, though, you’ll be able to learn new, more powerful spells, opening plenty more options for magical fun.
