How to Unlock Curator’s Cut
- This mode will only be available on day one to players who have pre-ordered a copy of the game.
It will then become available to all other players for free later in 2019.
- You then have to complete a play through of the Theatrical Cut (standard mode) of Man of Medan to unlock Curator’s Cut.
First off, it’s worth noting that Curator’s Cut is only available on day one for players who pre-order a copy of Man of Medan.
If you don’t pre-order, you’ll have to wait until sometime later in 2019 for the mode to release for free.
Unlocking Curator’s Cut is done by completing the game in Theatrical Cut first.
This is the standard mode of Man of Medan, so as long as you play through the game once either on your own or in multiplayer, you’ll unlock Curator’s Cut.
How to Play It
After unlocking this mode, you’ll then be given the option to play it when selecting to play either on your own or in multiplayer.
Once you’ve chosen your multiplayer mode, you’ll be given the option of whether you want to play the Theatrical Cut, Curator’s Cut, or choose a specific scene from the game to play from.
Simply choose the newly unlocked mode and you’ll be all set to dive in and experience the story from a new range of perspectives.
What’s Different in Man of Medan’s Curator’s Cut?
Playing through the game in this alternate mode will allow players to choose different characters in different scenes to see what they were up to while the events of the Theatrical Cut played out with others.
This enables players to find Pictures and Secrets they’ve missed, as well as experience more choices and decisions that will impact how the story plays out and the endings.
