If you missed out on probably the best defender in the game when it released as an SBC back in May, you have another chance as EA Sports has re-released the PFA Player of the Year Van Dijk SBC with new requirements. When it first released, it turned out to be a great value. It initially cost 1.1 million coins, but the TOTS version of the same card reached almost 2 million coins when it released a few weeks later.
Before completing this SBC, because it’s definitely a card you should get one way or another, I’d check the price fluctuation of the TOTS variant. It was around the 900k mark before this SBC’s release, having dropped alongside the rest of the market this week, but it’s since dropped another 300k.
With the PFA Player of the Year Van Dijk SBC coming in at around the 500k mark, it might be worth it to buy the TOTS version from the market for slightly more, with it being tradeable. Just keep on eye on the blue version and see how much its price moves over the next few hours.
Also, it’s worth noting that you don’t need to worry about what you may have seen when the SBC first dropped. It first appeared in FIFA 19 today as the POTY SBC, but with the card image and stats of the 92 rated POTM from earlier in the year.

Tips on Completing PFA Player of the Year Van Dijk SBC (FUTTIES Re-Release) in FIFA 19
Due to the current market crash that’s being caused by the FUTTIES batch three release, it’s best to approach all three of these SBC squads in the same way.
You should opt for high rated players, around the 91-93 mark, and then balance out the rating with lower-rated players. Also, don’t be afraid to use more TOTS cards than the requirements specify, since many of them are cheaper than the gold cards of the same rating in FIFA 19.
Also, since you need a maximum of 60 chemistry in any of the Player of the Year Van Dijk SBC squads, you can use players from off leagues in many of the positions.
Then, you can slip in the specific league, nation, or team required players wherever.
The likes of Alisson would be good from Liverpool, the likes of a Daley Blind/Donny Van de Beek special card would be good for the Netherlands player, and there are so many options for the Premier League players, especially with many special cards being around the 10-12k coins mark.
