For the past decade, the Wolfenstein series has centered around William Joseph “BJ” Blazkowicz: a one-man army on a mission to take down the Nazis. Here is everything you need to know about if you can play as BJ Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein Youngblood.
Wolfenstein Youngblood is all about his daughters, Jessica and Sophia, though, so many wonder if you can play as him at any point.
Can You Play as BJ Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein Youngblood?
At the start of Wolfenstein Youngblood, an aged BJ Blazkowicz mysteriously disappears without a trace. Since there is no telling what he is up to, or even if he had been kidnapped, Jessica and Sophia Blazkowicz take in into their own hands to find him.
Since they are in charge of finding him, players are able to control either of the sisters, even being able to play together in co-op for the first time in the rebooted series.
Throughout the entirety of the game, Jessica and Sophia are the only characters you can play. That means that BJ Blazkowicz is not a playable character for the first time in the series since it was rebooted in 2009.
Just because BJ isn’t a playable character, doesn’t mean you won’t see plenty of him on screen. Flashbacks and other interactions with everyone’s favorite Nazi killer are laced throughout Wolfenstein Youngblood.
You’ll see plenty of other notable characters in Wolfenstein Youngblood as well, though they’ll all be aged a bit since the game takes place in the alternative version of the 1980s.
