Pokemon Rumble Rush: How to Switch Pokemon

Pokemon Rumble Rush released today on IOS and Android devices. Similar to Pokemon Rumble on the Wii, this is not a traditional Pokemon game. Instead, players are tapping on the screen to make their Pokemon attack and progress through a linear dungeon. However, you still do have a party that you will take into each dungeon in hopes of defeating the boss at the end. You’ll need to switch out Pokemon for type advantages just like in the more traditional games. Here is how to switch Pokemon in Pokemon Rumble Rush.

How to Switch Pokemon in Pokemon Rumble Rush

While you’re in a level and you want to switch Pokemon, you can click the switch button on the bottom right of the screen. Then you can select the new Pokemon you want to switch to.

If you’re in the menus simply click on the Pokemon & Gears in the bottom right, then click on Pokemon, then select whichever one you want to choose, and then click the switch button.

Switching out Pokemon will be done frequently as you progress through levels that have a good variety of different types of  Pokemon.

It’s essential to make sure your team is just as diverse and has a lot of different typings to make sure you’re equipped for whatever situation you’re faced with.

As you progress through different levels, you’ll come across all sorts of different and powerful Pokemon to add to your collection. So get ready to catch them all and be the Pokemon Rumble master you always knew you could be.
