How They Work

Whenever you’re coaching a student at the start of the week, you might notice stars next to a particular skill that they’re either neutral or weak to. This means that they have a Budding Talent in that skill, and it can only be accessed if you level that skill up enough.

Once you unlock all three stars, they gain a buff associated with that particular skill.

It doesn’t sound like much, but becoming proficient in a new skill and unlocking the Budding Talent can seriously open up new classing possibilities for most of your units.
