What They’re For

If you’ve played Crypt of the Necrodancer, you’ll know that Diamonds serve as the special currency in that game, designed to help you get more permanent upgrades to make your future runs slightly easier.

In Cadence of Hyrule, they work pretty much the same way. When you die, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a shop and spend your accumulated Diamonds on items and gear to take with you on your next run.

How to Get Diamonds Fast

Every new screen you visit in Cadence of Hyrule will likely be filled with enemies. When you clear the entire area, you’ll usually be rewarded with one Diamond. So basically, the more screens and areas you clear, the more Diamonds you’ll get.

However, if you’re looking to farm them, there’s a great area for this very purpose. You’ll want to head to the Lost Woods. While the overworld layout is randomized for every game file, we’ve included a screenshot down below to give you an idea of where it might be on the map.

The Lost Woods is a good place for farming, as you can repeatedly farm the enemies here for Diamonds, and they’re pretty easy to take out as well. Each time you clear the area, just head up from the screen to reset the area and start killing enemies again.

Each run will give you one Diamond, though sometimes you might get two if you’re lucky.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Diamonds fast and what they’re for in Cadence of Hyrule. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
