How to Turn in Bounties in Days Gone

Oddly enough, the surviving humans in Days Gone are willing to pay you money for bringing them Freaker ears, and those are referred to as bounties, which can be turned in at any camp.

Each time you kill a Freaker, you can walk over their bodies to loot their ears. After you’ve done so, just head back to any camp and look for the Bounties vendor, indicated by the orange card-like icon on your mini-map.

Head over there and interact with the vendor, and you’ll be able to turn in your Freaker ears. As these bounties don’t seem to have much crafting value in Days Gone, you can turn them in safely without worrying about hording them for later on.

What Freaker Ears are For

While it’s not entirely clear exactly what these camps are doing with zombie ears, turning in those bounties is actually quite beneficial for you.

For starters, every bounty you turn in rewards you with a bit of Trust for that particular camp, as well as Credits that you can spend on items, weapons, and bike upgrades.

However, do be warned that Trust and Credits earned are camp-exclusive. This means that whatever Credits you earned at Copeland’s camp won’t carry over to Tucker’s, and vice versa. With that in mind, it might be a good idea to save your bounties for a camp that you want to build a large amount of Trust with.

That’s all you need to know about how to turn in bounties in Days Gone. Be sure to check our Days Gone guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
