How to Get Best Served Cold Medal in Destiny 2

Unlocking the best gear in Destiny 2 is heavily tied to the crucible, as completing daily challenges and earning XP is vital to leveling up and getting Engrams. Here’s how to get best served cold medal in Destiny 2.

The final piece of content Bungie unveiled for the Season of the Forge is no different, as players have to go through PvP in order to get the famous Last Word hand cannon.

The Last Word Quest

A fan favorite gun that is returning from the original Destiny, the Last Word brings increased accuracy and damage from hip-fire shots and Fan Fire back along with it.

The quest to get this gun can be found in the Tower by visiting the Drifter, who will hand you a strange artifact which must be “cleansed” by killing a whole bunch of Hive.

That isn’t the only step though, as this multi-part quest to unlock this Exotic requires players to earn a couple of medals in the Crucible as well. Here is everything you need to know about how to get the Best Served Cold medal in Destiny 2.

Best Served Cold

If this medal sounds familiar, it is because Bungie included it as a part of the Halo series back in the day. Just like in that series, the gist of this is that you need to get your revenge on the last person who killed you.

In order to do so, simply remember the name of the last player that took you down. They are your next target and fodder for getting the Best Served Cold medal.

Once you respawn, hunt down that player and take your revenge. Honestly, it is likely that you’ll come upon this naturally throughout the game, so don’t focus too hard on a specific player if they are way too hard to kill.

After earning this and the Blood for Blood medal, you’ll be one step closer to unlocking the Last Word.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Best Served Cold medal in Destiny 2. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the Season of the Drifter, or check out our Destiny 2 Forsaken guide wiki.
