Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation Gets Tour Guide “Uniforms” and New PvP Event

Today Koei Tecmo and DMM launched a new update for their free to play game Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation.

The update brings a new PvP event that will allow you to compete with teams created by other players in order to climb the rankings. An incentive to try and grind your way up to the top ranks is that they offer 2019 SSR tickets, allowing you a guaranteed shot at one of the newest costume and characters.

The downside is that managing to rank among the first 500 is going to be really, really challenging. At the very least, ranking within the first 5,000 will grant you a more achievable SSR wrist accessory for Nyotengu.

On top of that, we get a new gacha granting SSR tour guide uniforms for Nyotengu and Tamaki. Of course, considering the nature of the game, you won’t need to look at the pictures below to know that those “uniform” are very liberal in their inspiration from what a real tour guide would wear.

That being said, those don’t offer any bonus for this week’s event, so unless you really like them, you may want to save your V-stones for when they’ll be a better investment.

If you’re not familiar with Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation, it’s available exclusively for PC only at the moment, and only in Japanese. Dialogue isn’t exactly all that relevant in this game, so you can play it without relevant issues.

If you’re more interested in console games, you can check out the latest trailer of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet, which is coming soon for PS4 and Switch.
