Kayle and Morgana reworks

Kayle and Morgana Reworks Teased in New League of Legends Gameplay Trailer

In a video uploaded to the official Riot Games YouTube channel today, new gameplay and visuals for Kayle and Morgana are shown.

The two sisters are getting updated champion models, and it also appears that their abilities are being changed in a few different ways.

While neither of their new kits have been revealed, Kayle seems to maintain her ranged basic attacks and splash damage, as well as the invulnerability from her Ultimate. However, it appears now that in an area around Kayle, when her Ultimate ends, damage is dealt to the champions.

Morgana’s abilities all seem to be extremely similar to their current state. Her Ultimate ability is getting updated visuals, appearing to latch out and chain onto enemies rather than snap to them as it does on live servers.

The community has been asking for a Kayle rework for years now. Kayle is one of the oldest champions in the game and one of the few that has remained mostly untouched over the years. She looks and feels like a character stuck in the first few seasons of League of Legends, and it’s great to see that Riot is finally giving her some love.

Riot has yet to release any information on when these reworks will go live, but we’ll keep you updated on the coming patches.
