How to Get a Wingsuit in Far Cry New Dawn
Exploration has always been an important part of the Far Cry series, and that’s no different in New Dawn. While you’ll be returning to Hope County, it’ll look very different to how you might remember, but you’ll still want to explore from the skies. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get a wingsuit in Far Cry New Dawn.
While Hope County is generally flatter than the tropical settings we saw in Far Cry 3 and 4, there’s still plenty of opportunities to fly above the open plains, whether that be from the top of hills or out of planes. Having a wingsuit is the best way to fly, though.
You can unlock a wingsuit in Far Cry New Dawn by unlocking the Skydiver perk. You need to head to the Perks menu to do so, which is accessed by pausing the game with Options (Menu if you’re playing on Xbox One) and selecting the Perks option.
Once you’re at the perks menu, you’ll find that the Skydiver perk costs three perk points. Simply press X/A on the perk in the menu, as long as you’ve got enough points, and it will unlock.
Then, next time you’re jumping out a plane or off a cliff, you will be able to press L3 to open up the wingsuit. You can then soar across the skies of Hope County, taking in the sights or getting to your next objective quickly.
Having the wingsuit open also reduces fall damage. We wouldn’t recommend falling face first into the floor, however.
