How to Change Javelin Color in Anthem
Most of your time spent in BioWare’s Anthem revolves around defeating enemies and completing missions to get better weapons and gear for your Javelin. As such, when you’ve got the perfect bad-ass loadout, you’ll want to make sure it looks as perfect as it deserves to be. Here’s how to change Javelin color in Anthem.
The first thing you’ll need to do is make your way to Fort Tarsis. From here, you’ll need to interact with the Forge. You can do this by looking for the control panel to your left as you hop out of your Javelin at this location in Anthem. It’s right by the platform.
After you’ve done this, you should be greeted with a ‘Loadout’ screen. You can ignore this for now and just left mouse click on the ‘Appearance’ tab in the top right-hand corner. If you’re on Xbox One or PS4, use the RB or R1 buttons to reach this screen.
Next, you want to select the ‘Paint’ option to change Javelin color in Anthem, as you may have guessed. This is where it can get a little confusing, though. You should now see a screen that looks like the one below.
If you simply click on the balls or where the writing is in each of these boxes, you’ll simply change the materials used in each of those different sections of your Javelin in Anthem. This is cool, but it won’t change the actual colors of your shiny metal suit.
To change Javelin color in Anthem, you want to click or select the very end of each box with the colored tips.
Doing this will not only prompt the little flash animation as you can see in the screenshot above, but Anthem will then proceed to open up a color palette for you to choose from.
Now, it’s simply a case of selecting the color you want to use for that particular part of your Javelin, and pressing A, X, or left mouse click to confirm your choice.
