Overwatch Adds Ana Bastet Challenge and New Items

Overwatch’s latest update has added eight brand new in-game items for Ana that are unlocked by completing the Bastet Challenge. The challenge is available from Jan. 8 to Jan. 21 and includes five sprays, a player icon, a victory pose, and the epic Bastet Ana skin.

To receive the icon, pose, and skin, players must win nine games in Overwatch. Three wins will get you the icon, six wins unlock the victory pose, and for nine wins players receive the epic skin. These wins can be from matches of Quick Play, Competitive, or Arcade, and the challenge rewards are in addition to the regular weekly rewards.

For the five sprays, all you will have to do is watch Twitch streamers that have partnered with Blizzard. Viewing six hours of Overwatch streams will grant you all of the sprays, but some will become available at two hours and four hours of watch time. Blizzard has also posted a stream schedule that lets you know which streamers are participating and when to watch them.

It is worth noting that to receive these Twitch rewards your Blizzard account must be linked with your Twitch account. To do this you need to be logged in to Twitch, go to the Twitch Connections page, click the “Connect” button next to Blizzard Battle.net, and then put in your Battle.net account information. If you are not sure if you have done this, it is worth double checking to make sure all of your viewing time counts.

A trailer for the challenge can be seen below. If you want to read through the Bastet story, Blizzard has posted it here. To learn more about the big reveal from the new short story, be sure to check out our coverage here. Overwatch is available to play on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
