Onimusha Warlords Remastered: How to Solve the Water Puzzle

How to Solve the Water Puzzle in Onimusha Warlords Remastered

Recommended Videos

There aren’t many puzzles in Onimusha: Warlords Remastered that’ll leave you infuriated the way that the water puzzle does, so we’re here to make it a little easier with a detailed guide on how to solve the water puzzle.

Found during the gauntlet of puzzles that players face near the beginning of the game, the water puzzle tasks players with solving a shifting block puzzle in a limited amount of time.

Failing to do so will send them back to the beginning of the gauntlet, and given the confined area provided for shifting the blocks and understanding how to rearrange them, it’s more than likely you’ll end up replaying the gauntlet far more than you should.

Instead, follow these steps exactly and you should be able to enjoy the remainder of Onimusha: Warlords Remastered with far fewer headaches.

When you first activate the puzzle, it should look like the image below.

The goal will be to move the left flower half and right flower half pieces over the red flower mark on the puzzle board’s base.

Once the puzzle starts, move the single square block piece on the left down to the bottom of the screen. Then, move the single block piece on the right down into the spot right next to it.

After that, move the vertical rectangular piece on the left to the right into the now empty space. Then, move the left flower half piece as far to the right as possible so that it’s touching the piece you moved directly before it.

Now, move the horizontal rectangular piece in the bottom left corner up as far as you can, then move the two single square block pieces into the spaces side by side below it.

The puzzle board should look like this after following the above steps.

Next, move the horizontal rectangular piece in the bottom right corner all the way to the bottom left corner of the screen. Move the right flower half piece and the vertical rectangular piece on its left down to the bottom of the screen.

Next, move the left flower half piece and the vertical rectangular piece to the right of it down to the bottom of the screen. All four pieces should now be lined up along the bottom of the screen with empty space above them.

Move the horizontal rectangular piece in the top right corner down into the space below the horizontal rectangular piece in the top center of the screen.

Then, move the vertical rectangular piece to the left of the right flower half piece up to the top right corner  of the screen.

Afterwards, move the vertical rectangular piece on the right of the left flower half piece up to the top right corner of the screen next to the vertical rectangular piece you moved before.

This should clear the space for the right flower half piece to fit in next to the left flower half piece, and on top of the designated space where they needed to be no less.

That should cover every step you’ll need to take to solve the water puzzle.
