Fortnite: Best Chest Spawn Locations

The Best Chest Spawn Locations in Fortnite

Recommended Videos

Fortnite is currently in its fifth season, and oh boy, we’ve seen a number of changes since its release over a year ago. Locations have been replaced, weapons have come and gone (RIP Crossbow), and we’ve even seen in-game events to keep its audience engrossed. One thing that’s always stayed the same in Fortnite, however, is the significance of chests. Containing weapons, healing items, and other consumables, these glowing boxes are littered across Fortnite’s sprawling map and are often your best bet for getting the best weapons and items in Fortnite. As such then, chances are you’re wondering where the best chest spawn locations are in the game.

Let’s start off with a bit of a disclaimer. The best chest spawn locations in Fortnite are going to change a lot. Epic Games, if it wants to, can completely change up the best chest spawn locations each and every week as part of its content updates but it’s seldom very frequent. However, at the current time of writing, the best chest spawn locations we’ve listed for you down below are correct. And going forward into Season 6 of Fortnite and beyond, we’ll continue to update this post with the best chest spawn locations we find on the map so we can share them with you.

Below, you’ll find the current Fortnite map complete with the best chest spawn locations. Each number indicates how many chest spawn locations you can find in the vicinity, so without a doubt, Tilted Towers has the most with 42. It’s worth noting, however, that this is one of the most popular landing locations on the map, so don’t head there unless you’re prepared for a fight.

Though Risky Reels doesn’t have a ton within its confines, the surrounding area in the northeast section of the map is often very quiet but has a good number of chest spawn locations nearby, often with multi chest spawns, too! Retail Row’s another one of the best chest spawn locations out of those named locales on the map, but there are some non-named spots on the map with a ton of chest spawn locations you should check out, too!

To the northeast of Flush Factory, you can find an industrial estate (which now has a disco!) that has 17 chest spawns littered throughout its buildings and in the backs of its trucks. Even better, though, is the little village in the very south of the desert biome of Fortnite’s map. It’s just to the south of the road cutting through the biome, west of Lucky Landing. It has 18 possible chests that can appear there, and considering the incredibly small size of the locale, it’s without a doubt one of the best chest spawn locations you’ll find on Fortnite’s map.

Be sure to check out the map above to find the best chest spawn locations for your playstyle or preferred landing spot in Fortnite. For more tips, tricks, and guides on Fortnite Season 5, be sure to check out our comprehensive wiki.
