Immersive Dogmeat
Fallout 4 is home to many interesting and quirky followers, but none come close to looking as adorable as Dogmeat. This dog is one of the many companions you’ll meet along your journey, and while he might not be the best, he’ll follow you to the ends of the Commonwealth. If you’ve ever wanted a better version of Dogmeat, this mod tweaks a few things and makes him one of the best companions you can have in Fallout 4. Here are a few changes from the mod:
- Dogmeat is now virtually undetectable while sneaking, to make him less of a burden and more of a tactical attack dog.
- Dogmeat is now smarter about his engagements. He will never initiate combat first, only when he or the player is attacked.
- If attacked, Dogmeat will evaluate the attacker correctly. If the target is stronger than Dogmeat (Sentry bot, Mirelurk Queen, Boss, Etc.) he will avoid combat with that target.
