Goodness Prevails as Team Pulp Takes the Win in Splatoon 2’s Latest Splatfest

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

This past weekend, Splatoon 2 kicked off yet another Splatfest where players get to pick a team in an epic Turf War match-up. The theme for the latest Splatfest tests your love for orange juice, and players had to decide if they liked their OJ with pulp or without pulp. Because Marina was repping No Pulp this time around, needless to say she won the popular vote. However, the Pulp players managed to win more matches in both solo and team battles, giving Pearl the edge yet again.

It was a close battle as well. Team Pulp had a 50.62% and 52.61% win rate for solo and team battles respectively. Pulp players will be able to collect Super Sea Snails by logging into the game, and these items can be used to reroll abilities on your gear.

This Splatfest is over, and Pearl won this time, but there are sure to be more Splatfests to come in the next few months, and Marina will always have another chance to turn things around.

Splatoon 2 is now available on the Switch, and the game’s Octo Expansion was just released earlier this month.
