SMT Strange Journey Redux: How to Save Your Game

Saving Your Game in SMT: Strange Journey Redux

Recommended Videos

When starting a new game in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, it’s worth noting that once your main character’s HP drops to zero, it’s game over for you. It doesn’t matter if your demons are still alive, you’ll have to reset from the last save point if your character is dead. This can be bypassed later on in the game, but before you get to that point, you’re going to want to make sure that you save your game very often.

Saving your game is pretty straightforward in Strange Journey Redux. Basically, anytime you’re on the ship, you can press the Y button to bring up the menu, select System, and save your game from there. However, when you’re in a dungeon, that’s an entirely different story altogether. You can still save your game in dungeons via the Field Save function in Strange Journey Redux, but keep in mind that you can only have one Field Save file at any given time. This function can be accessed by going to your System menu, as if you were going to make a regular save.

That said, there are various terminals to be found around the dungeons as well. These look like large green machines, and you can interact with them to save your game normally, or return to the dungeon entrance.
