How to Draw & Sheathe Your Weapon in Monster Hunter World

The anticipated next game in the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter World, is finally out in the wild and fans can once again venture out and hunt huge, challenging enemies alongside their friends and companions. This time fans can explore a beautiful open world that takes full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There’s plenty of new and returning monsters to track down during your adventure, and all 14 different weapon types return from the last few entries. However before you throw yourself into a battle, it would probably help if you knew how to play. Chances are if you’re here, you’re probably lacking knowledge on a pretty important skill: how to draw and/or sheathe your weapon. You’re not going to do much with your weapon sheathed are you?

To do so, press Triangle or R2/ Y or RT to draw your weapon when it’s sheathed in Monster Hunter World, and Square or R1/ X or RB to sheathe it when it’s drawn. Simple as that really!
