PUBG Xbox One: Does it Have Splitscreen Multiplayer?

Can You Play Splitscreen Multiplayer in PUBG on Xbox One?

Recommended Videos

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has finally landed on Microsoft’s system as part of the Xbox Preview program. Though it may not look as polished as the PC version, the core battle royale gameplay is very much intact here. Of course, with PUBG being an online multiplayer game, some players are wondering if there’s splitscreen multiplayer in the Xbox One version.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, PUBG doesn’t have splitscreen multiplayer. If you want to play with your friends, you’ll need to both play on separate consoles and join a game together online. While the lack of splitscreen multiplayer may be disappointing to some players, it’s worth remembering that this could always change. With Battlegrounds being part of the Preview program, the state of the game will definitely change over the next year or so. However, considering the option still isn’t available in the PC version, we doubt we’ll see it for quite some time, if ever.

Of course, if an update does bring splitscreen multiplayer to PUBG on Xbox One, we’ll update this post to let you know. For more on PUBG, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
