Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris: Should You Get Positive Outlook, Living Memory, or Eternal Blazon?

Which Weapon Should You Get From Ikora In Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris?

Recommended Videos

After completing a few main story missions in Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris, Ikora Rey will offer Guardians three Legendary weapons: Positive Outlook, Living Memory, and the Eternal Blazon. While all three weapons can be obtained through random loot drops, it’s best to pick the most suitable weapon right away. One of the three weapons can give players an edge in PvP battles as it rivals Uriel’s Gift as the best weapon in competitive matches.

Before we divulge on the best weapon players should get, here’s an overview of each weapon that Ikora offers:

  • Positive Outlook: an auto rifle with armor-piercing rounds and Kill Clip. There’s also barely any recoil when firing this weapon due to its Precision perk that makes the recoil pattern more vertical, thus helping you easily land headshots in succession.
  • Living Memory:  your standard hand canon with an ample amount of ammo per clip. It has the Adaptive perk which makes the weapon “well-rounded, reliable and sturdy.”
  • Eternal Blazon: a scout rifle for Guardians who never stay still. This gun has several perks that boost your movement speed, whether you are walking or shooting foes while aiming down the sights.

Obviously, Positive Outlook is the best choice for PvP bouts as you can quickly shave off enemy armor and land pinpoint head shots due to its low recoil. It’s Kill Clip perk also helps you rake in multi-kills as it hugely boosts your damage output.

If you solely play PvE or don’t take PvP battles too seriously, you can choose whatever weapon type you prefer. After all, what matters is that you enjoy playing Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris.
