Assassin’s Creed Origins: How to Save Your Game

How to Save in Assassin’s Creed Origins

Recommended Videos

Assassin’s Creed Origins brings players a huge version of Ancient Egypt to run around and explore. After the Assassin’s Creed series took a year off, Ubisoft Montreal has returned with a brand new hero named Bayek, as well as overhauled combat and equipment systems, and completely doing away with some features like Eagle Vision. With such a huge open world to explore, and tons of different sidequests and things to discover, you’ll definitely want to know how to save your game. Luckily, Assassin’s Creed Origins makes everything incredibly easy for you.

Assassin’s Creed Origins employs a pretty liberal autosave system, saving your progress after you complete main missions and sidequests. You’ll also, of course, get checkpoints periodically during missions. This means that you don’t have to worry too much about losing a ton of progress if you die. At the same time, it’s always a good idea to quit out of the game before turning of your system of course, to force a save just in case anything happens. Right now there’s no way to manually save your game, but the autosave system does things often enough that you won’t need to worry.
