Overwatch Is Hosting a Free Weekend on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One

Don't worry, love, the free games are coming!

Interested in trying out Overwatch but haven’t pulled the trigger just yet? Yes, there are more of you out there. That’s why Blizzard is holding an Overwatch Free Weekend this September 22 through September 25. If you’ve been waiting to suit up and join the team, this is your chance.

You can participate in the free play weekend on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC, and all 25 heroes and 16 maps will be available for you to play in. You can mess about in Custom Games, Quick Play, and the Arcade, and you can even level up and earn Loot Boxes. Happy skinning!

To sweeten the deal, any kind of progress you make in-game during the Free Weekend will be carried over to your own personal Overwatch account if you decide to purchase it. You’ll have to make sure you use the same account you originally participated in the Free Weekend with in order for this to count, however, so make sure you don’t cause any snafus by switching between accounts.

If you’re interested and want to spend your weekend as Zenyatta D.Va (both great choices) you can head over to the official Overwatch blog for more information on start and stop times as well as how you can start participating.
