Cuphead: How to Unlock Super Abilities

How to Unlock Super Abilities in Cuphead

Recommended Videos

Super abilities are powers that can really turn the tide of a tricky battle to help Cuphead come out on top and continue with his adventure. Unfortunately, unlike other abilities in the game, you don’t actually start with any supers (not counting the one in plane levels). Don’t worry, though, they’re not too difficult to get (as long as you can get past the game’s bosses).

On each island, there is a Mausoleum that you can enter. There’s no boss, and there are no enemies that can actually damage you, the player. However, there is an urn in the middle of the room as well as tons of pink ghosts trying to get to it. All you have to do is Parry Slap all of them. As long as you get every single one, you win. Once one touches the urn, you have to start over. Don’t worry, though, it’s a lot easier than it looks, and you can’t take any damage. Just time your jumps and you’ll be fine.

Once complete, you’ll be given a super that you can equip and use in the game’s levels. Equip the one you like, and you’re good to go.
